Rest In Peace to all the famous people that have died quite recently. My thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and family of Billy Mays, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, David Carradine, Steve McNair, Ed McMahon and many others.
Iran has seen quite a roller coaster in recent weeks as well with the joke of an election that was held. Protests and riots ensued, but hopefully better times will follow.
The Lakers got Artest bolstering our already championship-caliber team, so watch out NBA in 2010!
Congratulations to Roger Federer on surpassing Pete Sampras as the man with the most grand slam singles championships! Too bad, I still prefer Pistol Pete, haha. Way to put up a great fight, Andy Roddick. USA!

No one really reads this blog and no one is going to read this, but I still write because I love writing. Let's see, who's on this team now anyway?

Erick - Only blogged like once, probably will never blog again. Busy with work and school and what not. Maricor writes on this site more, ha!
Calvin - Really busy with work/school/navy, so he gets a pass, lol. Miss him, though.
Michael - Never blogged even once, busy with school/research and other stuff.
Me - I'm still putting stuff up, but no one reads, oh well, that's life.

Hopefully, we update more evenly as a team, but it probably won't happen. Here's for the best? Also, here's a cat that wants a potato chip. Too bad, you can't get everything you want. Oh life, you can be so cruel at times.

Disney Sing It: High School Musical 3: Senior Year (Wii, PS3, 360, PS2)(February 17th)

Disney continues to capitalize on their big-hit franchise by releasing name branded High School Musical everything. “High School Musical” is the singing and dancing movie craze that has engulfed teens in its grasp. This game is the third iteration in the “Sing It: HSM” series with each game releasing sometime after its movie. A microphone peripheral is an option for 10 more dollars because it’s a karaoke based video game. There are 25 songs spanning all three movies with old and new crowd favorites ranging from “We’re All in This Together” to “I Want It All”. Another difference in this version is the background videos that accompany the scrolling lyrics. Instead of the music videos like in previous games, scenes from the movie play. High School Musical fans can expect this on store shelves this coming Tuesday at $39.99 w/mic and $29.99 w/o. For the PS2, it’s $29.99 and $19.99 respectively.

Street Fighter IV (PS3, 360) (February 17th)

The long awaited release for Capcom’s most storied franchise is finally upon us. “Street Fighter IV” is the continued journey of Street Fighter 2 with high-res 3D graphics on a 2D playing field. There are 17 playable characters with 12 SF2 characters reprising their roles and 4 brand new characters, Abel, Crimson Viper, Rufus, and El Fuerte. In the home version, the 3 bosses (Seth, Akuma, and Gouken) will be playable, and 6 characters will appear (Dan, Fei-Long, Sakura, Cammy, Gen, and Rose). The core fighting gameplay is still there, but some new additions have been added with ‘Focus Attacks’ and ‘Ultra Combos’. ‘Focus Attacks’ are simply counter attacks that the player can activate by pressing or holding the medium punch and kick buttons. The duration of the button hold determines the strength of the attack. ‘Ultra Combos’ have a special bar that fills up when one absorbs damage, and it delivers, well, an ultra combo of punches and kicks. Capcom’s highly anticipated fighter will be releasing at a store near you for both next-gen consoles at $59.99.

Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned (360) (February 17th)

The first batch of episodic content for “GTA IV” is hitting stores this week exclusively for the Xbox 360. Along with the new bag of weapons and vehicles, the player will assume the role of Johnny Klebitz, a member of the LOST motorcycle gang. In “GTA IV”, the main character, Niko, encountered the LOST gang in one of his missions, but “GTA IV” and its expansion pack are two separate entities. There will be some similarities that Johnny will encounter, but they will be in Johnny’s perspective. Some of the new weapons will be grenade launchers and an sawed-off shotgun. Weapons won’t be the only new add-ons because new multiplayer modes have been added. Some of the new modes are ‘Chopper vs. Chopper’ and a variation of certain modes in ‘GTA IV’. Rockstar’s episodic pack will hit stores on Tuesday for $19.99, but there will be no disc because it is a download code. Disclaimer: The ‘GTA IV’ disc is required to play ‘The Lost and Damned’.

This weekend was full of hi-jinks and fun with the people I call my family. It was filled with video games, yogurt runs, Dr. Pepper runs, more video games, lots of television, and food! We're probably going to do this next weekend as well, but one of us won't be there. My brother from another mother, Calvin. On Monday, he's leaving for boot camp because he's going to be a navy man. It's only 2 months, and I'm sure it'll go by quickly, but he will be missed. Our relationship isn't a traditional best friendship, and most don't even know that we are best friends, haha. It's one of those relationships where you don't talk in a long while, but when you do reconnect, it's like nothing ever changed. And, it's time like these, where our friendship comes in handy because when he comes back in 2 months, we'll all just go back to gaming again. Oh yeah, we beat the SpongeBob game for you, lol. Good times, good times..

Good luck, bro! I know you'll rock boot camp, just pretend it's a raid or something, lol. See you in two months.

so here it is. my final blog before i begin my new chapter. for those of you who do not know, im actually joining the navy! On Feb. 2nd i depart for boot camp. so my absence can't be helped, so sorry for not blogging. and even tho i haven't been, its becauseIi've been too busy rehearsing for the final performance at Vibe XIV. So for those of you that do follow me on youtube as well, you may be wondering "What is this video!?!?!?? calvin!?!!? ur quiting formality!?!?!?!?!?!"
well yes.. but im retiring from dancing overall, formality was my dream team and i achieved a spot on the roster! well i want to thank you all for following me and reading and watching about my life. i'll be back in 2 months.

The Catfish Splash: No Regrets

Regrets.. you're not supposed to have them. Sometimes, you reminisce about the past and questions begin to formulate. What could have been? What if I had done this? You'll never know because you can't go back. There's no delorean parked in your garage, is there? There's no time machine stashed away in the basement, right? I would've done that differently or this slightly to the left, it doesn't matter now. No turning back, and it sucks. What could've been? It's not a bad thing by any stretch of the imagination because the choices and paths taken or not taken shaped who you are today.
I'm not saying this because there's something in my past that I regret. Alright fine, I'll be outright with it. It was a missed opportunity, and we'll leave it at that. What if, what if, what if? I despise that phrase, but you just have to find a way to deal with it. It's not the end of the world, and life will go on. The regrets resurface from time to time when mental lapses occur. The scenarios replay in your head over and over like a broken record. Where would I be now? What kind of person would I have become? It's never a bad thing to look at what could have been, just don't dwell on these thoughts. You can't go back, tough cookies, huh? Look on the brightside though, things happen for a reason. The decisions you made in the past shaped who (insert name here) is today, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

The Catfish Splash: Old School

There's just something about writing with pen and paper that does it for me. I know it's archaic and utterly sluggish, but there's just something about it. I'm trying to figure out what that something is, but I can't pinpoint it. Typing on the computer is faster, easier, cleaner, and better in basically all facets. There's no comparison when pitting pencil/paper against the keyboard/monitor tandem. So, why is the old school way better? Maybe, just maybe, it's only better to me. Preference is the answer. There are a myriad of reasons that the computer is vastly superior, but you can't alter one's preference. It can also be attributed to the fact that I'm stubborn, plain and simple. Change? I don't particularly favor the word because I'm more accustomed to the quote: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Though, at times, the only choice is to change, so what are you going to do then? One can't remain traditional because your hand has been forced. Modernizing must take place, and the old school must become new school, right? Don't abandon the old school completely though! You just gotta be the old dog that can learn new tricks.

Sorry for the lack of recent updates, but we're on break. Break for us means nonstop gaming with videogames such as Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne, Rock Band 2, Guitar Hero: World Tour, and whatever else that will occupy hours and hours of our time. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and have a happy new year! (We'll try posting stuff before 2009, but don't hold us to it).

Day Five and Six: The Last Days

The fifth and sixth day will be combined since there wasn't much sleep involved anyways, heh. We began the day with 'dim sum' which "is the name for a Chinese cuisine which involves a wide range of light dishes served alongside Chinese tea" (source: wiki). The brunch occurred around 11 which was later than normal during our break because it was our last full day. The food was good, and you could tell who was more seasoned (pun intended) when it came to dim sum. The newbies seemed to enjoy it though. You have to open up those taste buds to new and exciting things!

We then grabbed some pastries to-go as we drove to Jack London Square, where we took many pictures of the dock, boats, rocks, ducks, etc.

After our extravaganza with cameras, the girls went to a salon or something like that to talk behind our backs (haha), while the guys wasted time at a Barnes and Noble. A "Would You Rather?" was purchased during our time at the bookstore, and some of the questions in that book are downright ridiculous. We went to the girls' place to organize the photo album about our NorCal expedition (these girls are lighting fast when concerned with pictures, not a bad thing at all).

Our last dinner in NorCal took place at Pyzanos which is known for its famous pizzas. The pizzas weren't a let down, and the hot wings were no slouches either. After our final dinner, we played way too much SingStar for the ps2 than you can imagine. We sang pop hits like: Hit Me Baby One More Time!, On The Way Down, Honestly, and many others.

We did this and other random nonsense until 330 A.M. The problem there was that we were waking up at 815 A.M. which was less than 5 hours away?! (I can do math!).

After our little 'nap', we woke up and left for our final meal in NorCal. The place that was chosen was 'Doug's Place' known for their omelettes. A couple of our group of nine left because of the flight time being at 11. And then there were 7. Everyone enjoyed their respective meals, and I went custom with mine (sausage and bacon omelette!). After the meal, we left our two remaining NorCal buddies to return to our SoCal homes. And then there were 5. Just four guys and a gal on the road trip back (we were gentleman on our best behavior! For most of it anyways).

Before we dropped off everyone, we had a very special and significant pit stop at Fort Tejon in the Tehachapi Mountains. There was snoooooooooooooooooow!! It's what I had been asking for this whole time! We were all overly excited and you can guess what happened next! Snowball fight! It got pretty violent, but all is fair in love and war, so no hard feelings.

After our stop, our group started to decrease in size. The gal went first, as ladies should, then one guy, and we were finally in Riverside. And then there were 3. Two stayed in Riverside, and then there was 1. I left for my hometown, and then there was none. Thank you to the ones in NorCal for everything and for being such great hosts. It was an awesome experience, and I can't wait for next time! Thank you for the driver and the others in the car. Without you guys, the car rides wouldn't be as satisfying, comical, ridiculous, and just super fun. Thank you and have an amazing break!

Day Four: Monterey Bay

We started the day with our super hot showers to awaken us from our deep slumbers, but the difference today was that it was even earlier than usual. Early as 9 am because a big day had been planned out in the city of Monterey. We left our home base to navigate across freeways and hills to get to another friend's house, where we all got into one car (a behemoth of an SUV). Onto the Monterey Bay Aquarium we drove and it was about an hour drive, so most people slept on the ride there.

The aquarium was enjoyable because it made us feel like little kids again. Also, little kids were touring the aquarium along with us. We even played in the 'Kids Only' and 'Babies Only' areas and got warned for it, oh well, let us act like kids! The aquarium is equipped with a plethora of aquatic creatures for onlookers to observe and comprehend.

The animals ranged in size and color from octupi, sharks, otters, and tuna to jellyfish, anemones, birds, and many other water loving creatures.

We hadn't eaten all day, so we looked for food down the road (not on the road literally, silly!). We came across, I kid you not, every chocolate place known to man or woman with the basic format of Chocolate-(insert place here). Some of the names were factory, emporium, land, etc.

No food places in sight, so we drove to the wharf and ate more clam chowder. I ordered popcorn shrimp and traded for some friend's calamari. It was alright to say the least, and the friends favored the clam chowder from the other day.

We wandered onto the beach and it was quite the sight. People got their kicks from writing outlandish statements about certain teams and people (the Lakers are the best and Ivan is not lame!). It was entertaining nonetheless and no one got wet, even though one person could of, haha. The drive back was filled with random what if's and which would you rather questions, so I stayed awake, lol.

The climax of the day would probably have to be at Fenton's Creamery where they served heart attacks in a cup or bowl. Every bite was oh so lovely though, and definitely worth the price of admission. I'm sharing with someone next time though because it's hearty enough for two!
You should come to expect this, but after Fenton's we went to the same house we've been going to. Once again, we had what if's and which would you rather questions, while watching Gremlins 2.We also found out that 15 crab cakes is the dealbreaker to end all dealbreakers, plus a quizno's sub, of course.

Day Three: Coastal Adventures

We start everyday early, and I've come to expect it, as should you. Nothing better than hot showers to wake you up. We spent predominantly most of our time near masses of water, so it was cold. I decided not to wear thermals, which, later, solidified that I'm a complete and total idiot.

We crossed the Bay Bridge to get to the Golden Gate Bridge, and the view along the way way was breathtaking with the sun parting the clouds. In the words of a friend: "The heavens know that there is a calm before the storm" or some cheesy stuff like that, haha.

After parking our cars, we wandered across the golden gate bridge. I was freezing, but it was fun. Pedestrians looked at our little group because we were weirding them out. Oh well, we're all weird, just got to deal. Some of the weirdness showcased upon the bridge had people taking off their shirts, piggyback rides, spitting on each other, etc. you kind of get the picture.

After the Golden Gate Bridge fiasco, we drove to Fisherman's Wharf.
We were famished, so we made a beeline for Chowder's at Pier 39(a section of the wharf). The clam chowder was amazing and it cured our colds from the gusts of wind we were experiencing outside.

After our feast, we braved the winds and explored the various shops scattered throughout this section of the pier. Notable shops we scoured were the: sports memorabilia shop, every chocolate shop we saw (you know because of who), crazy hats store, and some others that don't come to mind at this very moment. When the darkness fell upon us, the cold was blistering, and it didn't help when gusts of wind decided to pick up at the most inopportune times.

To finish the night, we went to Sushi House in Alameda. Crunch sushi rolls there are oh so yummy! Stories were shared and jokes were delivered, some funny, some not (you know who you are! haha).

To put the icing on the cake to end the day, the Lakers won, even though it wasn't remotely close to a convincing win. A win's a win, and Stu Lantz is a great commentator. Oh yeah, it was the same house, and we watched the X-Men and Jackie Chan cartoons while planning for tomorrow.

Day Two: The BART

Day two basically began and ended with the BART which stands for Bay Area Rapid Transit. We got on the subway bright and early at about 1030 AM, and rode BART into San Francisco. We passed such mainstays where the Golden State Warriors and Oakland Raiders play.

We traversed the Westfield San Francisco Center because of its '13' stories of escalators, while taking pictures, of course, then we took the elevator down.

After, we headed into the Metreon, where a robust playstation store was, but we didn't venture in. Instead, we went outside and played with a waterfall, while my adventurous companions tried to capture seagulls and pigeons.
After this little escapade, we headed to Chinatown, where we went into multiple Chinatown bazaars. People can buy anything for cheap at one of these. We even gave back to the community by reading with little kids.

Our real reason in Chinatown was to eat some chinese food, which was great. Shrimp fried rice never lets you down. Rain was on and off the whole day, switching between pouring and sunlight.

To finish our trip in San Fran, we went to a combination of stores involving: Macy's, Apple Store(where we played kiddie games), and Virgin(listened to music, played guitar hero, and looked at funny porn titles).

Then, we finally ended up back on the BART, where it was packed like a traffic jam because of rush hour. We were knocked the eff out.

"It's definitely the holidays! Snowman donuts!?"

We were hungry again, and we went to Barney's, who are known for their killer burgers. Barney's lived up to their accolades that were plastered all over their walls. To end the day, we headed to the same friend's house as yesterday, and watched 'Get Smart' and the last fight scene of 'Incredible Hulk' which lived up to the hype bestowed upon it. We did all this while playing Texas Hold Em' of course. See you tomorrow Planet Earth.

Day One: The Arrival

Woke up at 5:40, wow, that's early. Got ready and all that jazz in 30 minutes. Left for riverside at 6:20, I'm late. I need to get to riverside by 7, time to go 90 mph. Geez, people are passing me, hah. Just got to riverside at 6:55, and we load up, now we're off to San francisco. I'm probably going to nap the whole time. ZzZzzZ...

Nothing like waking up to dollar chicken nuggets from mcdonalds, yum. Back to sleep. ZzzZzZZzz...

We finally arrive in Oakland at 3:30 p.m. and we're starving, so we drive over to Popeye's and chow down. Now, while the others are nap, a few of us watch Dewey Cox and Sunday Night Football. I want the Cowboys to lose, so the Eagles can overtake them in the standings. Woot, woot!

Stupid giants lost, ugh. The Eagles better win tomorrow against Cleveland!

After the game, we were taken out to dinner by Jason's parents. Mhhmm, chinese food, not that cheap panda food we usually eat at school. This is actually legitimate chinese food, take a look:

We get to Starbucks to meet up with the girls and to warm up, and we end at another friend's house to plan the rest of the week. I planned everything, haha nah. The girls did most of the planning, while the guys watched Survivor: Gabon. That show is completely real! HAH! I'll leave day one with this:

I recently got hacked on shaman and warlock are now gone both level 70; and with that said I brought back my old account with my level 69 Shadow Priest. Yes still 69, Im too lazy to bring it to 70, now that i have a new Main (:

This is my level 62 Death Knight Named Jinkk. Named after my original character Jinketsu(In Japanese it means "Hero". Funny thing is my Brother is a 70 Paladin named Shunkk (named after his original character named Shunketsu{also means "Hero"}) So the funny thing is that hes a holy warrior and im a dark warrior. a classic case of Final Fantasy IV with Cecil the Dark Knight who turns into Cecil the Paladin. any case im off subject. I love this death knight, I am leveling up as Unholy for the massive AoE damage, and im serious about that i can take on like 10 mobs at once. I plan on being Blood in the end b/c of its massive survivability and leaching is cool. Frost is my next choice b/c its about dual weilding and attack speed, and if you know me and how i choose my characters you know that i choose the fastest movement and attack speed. The only reason I am currently againsts frost is that i want to carry arround a giant 2-hander like a Fury Warrior dual Wielding his 2-handers; but the one handed swords in northrend kinda look big like 2-handers so we'll see.

Another friend, Jason, pointed me to this game, and I was intrigued by what my eyes saw. It piqued my interest because the concept and excecution are truly original. The basic idea behind the game is that the player is given objectives to complete to finish the level, like retrieving an item from a tree. The player doesn't control the character, but simply gives the character an item to use by 'writing' a word in (the stylus is used). The video included gives three examples. This game is brought to you by 5th Cell, the same makers of "Lock's Quest" which I've been meaning to check out for some time now. "Let your imagination run wild!" is the tagline for this game, and you should let it. My only fear is that some participants will input obscene words to see what happens, but that won't ruin the experience, since it's not online. Enough with the talk, go watch.

I was directed towards this little gem by the Penny-arcade guys, and I was immediately hooked. The music doesn't show its face until you start playing the game, but when it is heard, it is great. The objective is the manipulate the stream of light in a manner that directs itself towards the column of bars. Only then will the music appear, and it is quite satisfying when one completes a level. The beginning goes by pretty quickly, but it slows down when the levels get more complex with the different angles the light must make. Enough talking about it, play it now! Enjoy it for yourself.

Pioneer shows off 16-layer 400GB Blu-ray Disc!

Here's an interesting article that my friend, Stan, pointed me towards earlier today. 400GB is a plethora of space, that's even more than my Ps3 right now, hah. With a TB(terabytye) looming in our near future, I don't know what our limits will or can be. Here's the article:

When Pioneer first introduced its unicorn-like 16-layer 400GB Blu-ray Disc, we weren't sure if the thing would make it beyond the drawing board, let alone be compatible with existing BD decks. Over at the IT Month Fair in Taipei, Pioneer showed up to showcase the capacious disc, and better still, a DigiTimes report asserts that these are indeed compatible with Blu-ray readers already on the market. Currently, the 400GB disc is slated to hit mass production sometime between now and 2010, while rewritable versions won't hit until 2010 to 2012. Not like it really matters though -- a 1TB disc is on track for 2013, and you know you'll be waiting for the latest and greatest.

The thing im most excited for is the stuff that affect my future which is hes plan for teachers. he's supposed to make it easier and more encouraging to become one. having schools more dedicated to teaching teachers how to teach and having programs that allow them to see what its like to be a teacher and what not. at any rate congratz to him as the new president and the very first BLACK president. People need to shut up and grow some thicker skin, please. These things that are said grow faster than you can imagine. Find a different outlet for your frustration or anger. Sports, videogames, dance, writing, just something else. Ayeyaiyai. When you say something, reconsider who or what you're talking about, por favor. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me. Remember that? That doesn't apply here. Bones will heal over time, but words can leave scars that last a lifetime. I'm ranting because I care, because it takes a toll on me. I know I shouldn't let it bother or affect me, but it does, in a very big way. I care if my friends are friends with each other. Can't we all just get along? So remember the next time you spout something off that you might regret it later or *gasp* hurt someone's feelings. I said please, didn't I?

Little Big Plan.. Delayed!

Scheduled to be released pretty soon, Little Big Planet was delayed yesterday because of two music findings involving the Qur'an. For us in the U.S., the delay isn't too bad, but for everyone else it'll be released sometime in November (14th?). Here's an official quote from the playstation blog:

"During the review process prior to the release of LittleBigPlanet, it has been brought to our attention that one of the background music tracks licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur’an. We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologize for any offense that this may have caused.
We will begin shipping LittleBigPlanet to retail in North America the week of October 27th. Sorry for the delay, and rest assured, we are doing everything we can to get LittleBigPlanet to you as soon as possible."

WoWoWEEEE: Epic 36 multi-boxer

Multi-boxing is becoming more and more popular. Multi-boxing is where, usually 5 accounts, one wo/man controlls all five. Multi-boxing became popular through a 5 man team shaman. Im not completely sure but im assuming they were all elemental due to the fact it would be hard to hit them physically trying to control 5 shamans compared to targeting the same one and nuking them with a lighting bolt/ lightening overload; Epic Win for sure. From what it looks like, this guy is running a 36-man shaman team. He is controlling them with 7 computers. He wants to attack stormwind and ironforge. i suppose its because it is hard to get a full team to attack. i know forsure if he came on my server and attacked stormwind with his 36-man shaman team, i'd just take a bunch of screenshots.

so the new echoes of doom patch came out i believe on tuesday. and im pissed. none of my computers are optimized to run WoW. all of them have virus or are too old. basically this patch is the sneak peak of the new expansion "Wrath of th Lich King". when you sign on all your talents are reset b/c all the classes got changed. new talents and new skills. new barbershop where you can fix your hair. and a new place, the stormwind harbor i believe. basically while everyone is out having fun w/ new talents and the new arena and skills im here reading about how everyone is having fun with the new patch. well anyways im super excited to hit 80 to get the spirit wolf talent for my shaman and i can walk around like thrall!!!! bwahahhahahahah

Science and Technology: Macbook (pro)

So all of our friends have Mac's. and they are urging us to make the switch. Im sure its because my computer is 4 years old (16 years old in technology years stated by Erick Lazo) that im ready to make the switch. Ok, so now im ready to make the switch, i got my iPHONE but no matching macbook, poor me. I can't remember who exactly told me this but when i said i wanted a macbook they said "Go Pro, or don't go". meaning don't convert to mac unless you go pro. Im assuming i should go pro b/c of all the great features it provides. Im SOLD!!! i want one! but here is my question: isthat saying, "go pro, or don't go" now useless? the new macbooks have the alluminum casing like the pro does. it has the LED backlight; and it even has light up keys. ok ok i know that thats not why we like the macbook pro, but lets be honest, thats freakin epic if your keys light up. One thing that definetly caught my eye was the 2 graphics cards in the macbook pros. instead of having two different models for the graphics cards, they decided to put both of them in it. the Nvidea gforce 9400m or something is the standard one, and u can switch it to the Nvidea gforce 9600m GT. or something, which is basically turbo mode. the 9400 is still 5times stronger than the old video card and w/ it running, the macbook would last 5 hours. and w/ the 9600m GT (the 'gt' makes it sound so much more powerful) it last 4 hours. now when i knew you can switch the cards i thought the battery life would be significantly different. like it would only last 2-3 hours. In my opinion, if battery life was the reason for 2 graphics cards, it should be a strong but energy reliable 6-8 hour battery and the super powerful 9600m GT that will last 4 hours. b/c to me, im sure i'll change my mind later but for now im going w/ this, to me i would just run the 9600m gt b/c its only 1 hour in batterylife difference.

How To: Let Him Win Your Heart

this one is the answer to my earlier blog. This SUPER cute girl, that won't let me call her beautiful w/out her reminding me that my dad said it first cuz she doesn't remember when i first said it to her, wrote it. and i wanted to share it w/ you all.

Pt. 2

Let him win your heart

Be sweet to him.
Play up your innocence.
But don't play dumb.
Ask for advice.
Call him sometimes, its ok to rethink if you should.
(Only call him once in a night. If he doesn't answer its ok, because if he calls you back, you know its a good sign)
Tease him to make him think its a school girl crush.
Tell him you watched him, let him know he good he was.
Compliment him, and let him see you watching him.
Yell his name so that he knows it you, make him nervous but watch him smile from the corner of his eye.
When you ride in his car, let him see how often you smile.
When you cry, see if he's still willing to look you in the eye.
When he cries, good sign, his walls are down around you.
Offer to eat together after some events, but don't eat like a bird.
Afterwards, when everyone is walking to their car, have him walk you, but linger for a little bit with him, but not too long.
Let him know that you know its gonna be hard for you guys to hang out.
You have less time together now during the week.
If he makes the effort to see you, even better sign.
He'll most likely want to watch a movie, thats a guy's default hangout.
It'll give him a reason to be near you, but not too close incase you're not feeling the same way.
He'll pick a movie, that he thinks you'll like.
And to your surprise, you'll probably love it, (especially if its My Sassy Girl)
Hopefully he'll try and make it not awkward,
But if you have to go out to eat with him and his family, let it be.
Its ok to be kind of nervous.
So when you finally get to watching those movies,
Don't sit too close.
Try not to be forward.
Even though you want him to hold you.
He'll probably watching to see when you smile, pay no attention when he does this.
He's just as nervous as you are, but don't let him think you are.
Your hands will get sweaty, give him the opportunity to touch your hand.
He'll suddenly get really nervous, and most likely have no idea what to do.
You know you'll want to speed this process along.
You want him to hold your hand.
But don't make the first move.
Try to come in contact with his body.
Maybe tickle him.
He'll try to stop you, guys don't like to be tickled, its like a form of weakness.
After a long day of movies, it starts to get late, but he hasn't made a move.
Its ok to fall asleep.
On his shoulder too.
He'll watch you sleep.
And you'll snuggle unconsciously.
He might try to wake you.
This is your chance to see if he's going to go for it.
Maybe he will, maybe he won't.

But he's still holding you close.
Which makes you see how much he cares.
How much you actually do.
How much you don't want to leave from his arms.

How much you want him to call you baby.
How much you start falling for him
How much you could never see yourself without him.
So say it back, 'I hate you too.'
When in all actuality this was never supposed to happen
When in all actuality you hardly hate him at all.
So in one day, you let yourself fall.
Look back at him, square in the eye.
He'll kiss you now, and go for it.

Geoff Keighley, what?!

Let me tell you the tale of the night I talked to Geoff Keighley on the phone. It started like any ordinary friday night, just hanging out with my friend. We're about to leave when my phone suddenly rang. It's my Kuya Aj, and I knew he was at blizzcon, so I pondered what he was calling about. I'm like what's up? He says in the background, "Geoff, is that Geoff?" in my mind, I'm thinking Geoff who? I asked him who? He replies, "Geoff Keighley." I say, "No way!" And right away he knew I didn't believe him. I didn't, I won't lie. He says, "Hold on." In my mind, I'm thinking okay whatever. A new voice unfamiliar to me appears on the phone. "Hey, this is Geoff Keighley, how are you doing?" Starstruck, shocked, whatever you want to call it. This is Geoff Keighley we're talking about here. He's on tv! Haha, but I still didn't believe the voice, I thought it was a recording. I didn't answer, but then 'Geoff' said, "Yeah, your friend gave me his phone to talk to you, how are you?" At that moment, I knew it wasn't a recording as naive as I was being. I responded nervously, "This is awesome!" He was busy, and had to cut the conversation short by saying, "Well, I have to go finish this recording for direct tv, I'll let you get back to talking with your friend." It was crazy for lack of a better word. Aj gets back on the phone, and i'm yelling now, "Was that Geoff Keighley?!?" He simply says, "Yes." And I'm like holy cow?!? And here ends my tale of my little chat with Geoff Keighley on the phone.
